Sue Carol Elvin studied accounting at Gulf Coast Community, Memphis State and Christian Brothers Colleges. She began to write while raising her four children on a horse farm in Arkansas.
As a single mother of four, Sue Carol worked in finance until she remarried. She picked up her dream of writing again when she accompanied her husband, an engineer on ocean going vessels, on the tours carrying U.S.A.I.D. to East and West Africa and countries along the Black Sea. These nautical adventures provide much material for her creative impetus.
As a woman raised in the Jim Crow south, she has a keen sense of social justice that is reflected in all her writing.
Sue Carol is now back on dry land and settled in Chattanooga, Tennessee with husband, Peter, and their cat, Clawed.
Her debut multi-generational children's novel: The Memory Guardians is now out for purchase at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and all booksellers via Ingram Spark publishing.
