Sue Carol Elvin studied accounting at Gulf Coast Community, Memphis State and Christian Brothers Colleges. She began to write while raising her four children on a horse farm in Arkansas.
As a single mother of four, Sue Carol was compelled to work full time as accounts manager for a large corporation. However, she was able to pick up her dream of writing once more when she remarried. Her new husband, a naval, chief engineer meant she could accompany him at sea during his career. These nautical adventures provide much material for her creative impetus.
Sue Carol is now back on dry land and settled in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a woman raised in the Jim Crow south, she has a keen sense of social justice that is reflected in all her writing.
Her debut children's novel: The Memory Guardians is now out.
